Wine for Human Rights

The Oregon Wine Press highlighted Ponzi Vineyards’ limited edition “Together” release of 2017 Pinot Noir. Motivated by the recent unrest going on nationwide, sister-owners Luisa and Maria Ponzi wanted to find a way to make a difference beyond a straightforward monetary donation.

While the Ponzi family has always been very active in the community, they’ve never done anything specifically for women. “We needed to do something more to support women and, beyond just supporting women, women of minority,” said Maria Ponzi. The sisters partnered with artist Sheree Brand to design the unique labels, and proceeds will be donated to a different charity each month. “The first beneficiary, SisterLove, champions reproductive justice issues in the U.S. and abroad.” Read more about this important collaboration HERE
