The Houston Chronicle selected Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée and Champagne Ayala Brut Majeur as two of the top champagnes to enjoy this holiday season.
Writer Dale Robertson reinforces Bollinger’s heritage and that it is “James Bond’s favorite go-to bottle of bubbles” and adds that it offers “very complex, toasty flavors, highlighted by pear, with hints of walnuts. Long, rich, yet amazingly balanced finish.”
He also speaks to Ayala’s “colorful and complicated history” dating back to 1850 and describes Brut Majeur as “dry with zesty acidity, green apple, citrus and pie crust. Clean finish.” Read the full story HERE

Bollinger is one of the rare Grande Marques that’s still family owned. Known for its rich, elegant and polished style of Champagne, their outstanding wines are the result of rigorous attention to detail and incredibly labor-intensive practices that few houses are willing to undertake. Underscoring its excellence, Bollinger has remained British secret agent James Bond's Champagne of choice since 1973.
