Wine writer Andrew Chalk published a dedicated review of Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2019 on The Chalk Report.
Chalk offers background on the winery, adding “Dog Point’s focus on soil health through organic farming, use of native yeasts, pruning and a non-interventionist style of winemaking all point to a quality and detail-obsessed producer intimately familiar with its iconic region.”
He picks up herbal notes and aromas of lemon, green apples and grapefruit on the nose. Additionally, he highlights the wine’s acidity and citrus fruit and herbaceous flavors on the palate. Read the full review HERE
