Conde Nast Traveler published a story about the many details required to film the season finale of HBO’s Succession, including the specific decision to source Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée during Lady Caroline’s wedding in Italy. As reference, Lady Caroline’s character is Logan Roy’s second wife, and Kendall, Roman and Shiv’s mother.
Travel specialist Emily Fitzroy spoke about her experience. She selected the filming locations and stayed during the filming in June and July, “to hold the hands of the owners and advise on everything from the table decor to the type of Champagne a wealthy Anglo-American family would drink (Bollinger, of course).”
